Excitement, fun and action await you at our abseil training at the dam in Amden. With the tips and tricks of our trained and experienced guide, you will soon hover down the 40 meters dam effortlessly. When you enter the dam and take a look down the 40 meter wall, you may feel a queasy feeling. Secured with rope, you bravely climb over the railing and start the adventure. Meter by meter, your fear fades and your timid steps become more and more secure, the fascination increases. The liberating feeling of victory over fear occurs. At any time you decide by yourself the abseiling speed. A short and comfortable hiking trail leads you back up to the dam. You can abseil as often as you want. You will soon become more courageous and have the opportunity to refine your technique. The abseiling training is carried out from a minimum of 10 participants and thus is ideal for groups like clubs, companies or school classes. To ensure that the experience is remembered in the long term, each participant also receives a reminder certificate as well as some reminder photos.
Itinerary We meet in Amden at our meeting place that is easy to reach by car or public transport. From there we walk about 5 minutes to the dam. On the way you can enjoy an excellent view on the Walensee and the Glarner mountain panorama. You will receive a helmet and a harness from us as well as a short instruction for abseiling. Our guide prepares the ropes on the railings and you can then start with the training. Our guide will make sure that you are properly secured. Take a deep breath and start walking slowly down the dam wall.
