Forget the everyday life - dive into the belly of Mother Earth. During our cave tour, you can enjoy absolute silence and darkness in the fascinating Jurassic cave system. With over 8 km of length, the Niedenloch is one of the largest cave systems in the Jura. The entrance to the cave is at 1274 meters. Enjoy the magnificent view of the Bernese Alps - Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau - before we enter the underworld. Our qualified cave guide accompanies you through the impressive cave system.
The simple cave tour is suitable for everyone. Difficult spots are secured with ladders and ropes. During the tour, you will learn about geology, hydrology, cave exploration, life in the dark, man and cave, cave formation, cave contents, as well as cave and environmental protection. You will get the necessary material like helmet and lighting from us. If you wish, you can also hire a professional cave explorer suit (this costs an additional CHF 20.-) - please indicate this at the time of booking including the required size.
